China's socialist system with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and the ever-evolving opportunities and challenges require the younger generation to continue their efforts guided by the spirit of scientists.Medical students,as a potent reserve force in advancing the"Healthy China Strategy",need to further promote the spirit of scientists with patriotism as the foundation and innovation as the core,closely integrating personal ideals with the development of the motherland.The results of this study,based on questionnaire surveys and data analysis,indicate that the cultivation of the scientific spirit among medical students in Chinese universities is still in its initial stages,with further implementation needed in terms of conceptual understanding,structural setup,and system development.Consequently,this paper summarizes the current status and key issues in the cultivation of the scientific spirit among medical students in the new era at universities and proposes specific solutions accordingly.
