Exploration and Reform in Medical Immunology Experimental Teaching
The focus of medical education is not only on imparting knowledge and answering questions but also on developing students'comprehensive abilities.Medical immunology is one of the important courses in higher medical institutions, mainly studying the relationship between the body's immune system and the occurrence of diseases. However, traditional medical immunology laboratory teaching faces several problems, including outdated teaching content, obsolete equipment, insufficient interdisciplinary integration, low student engagement, and a single assessment method. These issues lead to a disconnect between laboratory teaching practice and research practice,as well as clinical application, thereby affecting teaching effectiveness. In recent years, more and more innovative teaching methods have been introduced into laboratory teaching, including integrating laboratory courses, early scientific contact, flipped classrooms,problem-based learning(PBL),and virtual simulation. These methods aim to address the shortcomings of traditional teaching models. This article summarizes and reflects on the problems and reform measures in immunology laboratory teaching, aiming to improve teaching quality through continuous exploration and reform, and to cultivate more medical talents with comprehensive abilities.
