Application of Integrating the Concept of Curriculum Ideological and Political Into CBL Teaching Method in Clinical Skill Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of integrating the concept of curriculum ideological and political into case-based learning(CBL)in clinical skills teaching.Methods A total of 224 medical undergraduate students majoring in medical imaging,anesthesia,pediatrics and clinical medicine of the third grade in Guangdong Medical University were selected as the study objects from March to June 2022,and were randomly divided into CBL+curriculum ideological and political group(n=112)and conventional group(n=112).In the CBL+curriculum ideological and political group,integrating the concept of curriculum ideological and political into CBL teaching method was used,while the traditional teaching method was used in the conventional group.After teaching,the teaching effect was evaluated objectively through the examination of clinical skills.The teaching satisfaction was collected by means of questionnaire survey,and the teaching effect was evaluated subjectively.Results The clinical skill examination scores of medical imaging,anesthesia,pediatrics and clinical medicine in the CBL+curriculum ideological and political group were(88.38±3.74)points,(89.10±5.99)points,(92.19±4.80)points and(90.30±5.31)points,which were significantly higher than those of the conventional group.The difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).At the same time,a total of 87 effective questionnaires were counted,and it was found that the CBL+curriculum ideological and political group had a higher overall satisfaction with the integration of curriculum ideological and political ideas into CBL teaching method.Conclusion The application of the integrating the concept of curriculum ideological and political into CBL teaching method can improve the clinical skills and learning interest of medical students,and the teaching method is helpful to cultivate the clinical thinking and humanistic quality of medical students.
