Analysis of the Effect of VR Technology Combined With CBL Teaching Method on Sports Medicine Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of virtual reality(VR)combined with case-based learning(CBL)in the teaching process of sports medicine. Methods A total of 60 interns from the department of sports medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from March 2020 to February 2023 were randomly selected as the research subjects. They were divided into two groups using the touch ball method, with 30 interns in the control group and 30 interns in the observation group.Traditional teaching and VR technology combined with CBL teaching method were implemented respectively, and the teaching effects of the two groups of interns were compared. Results Compared with the practice scores of the two groups, the practical scores[(91.63±5.69)points]and theoretical scores[(90.58±5.12)points]of the observation group were higher than those of the control group[(85.26±2.12)points and(82.63±2.36)points],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Compared with the control group, the teaching effect score and subjective satisfaction rate of interns in the observation group were higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The critical thinking disposition inventory-Chinese version(CTDI-CV)score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The VR technology combined with CBL teaching method is beneficial for enhancing teaching effectiveness, cultivating interns'critical thinking ability, and overall teaching satisfaction among interns in the field of sports medicine.
