Study on the Application of CBL Teaching Method Combined With WeChat Platform in Clinical Immunology Examination Practice Teaching
Objective To explore the application effect of case-based learning(CBL)combined with WeChat platform in clinical immunology examination teaching.Methods A total of 103 four-year undergraduate interns majoring in medical laboratory technology who practiced in the department of clinical laboratory of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from July 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects,and divided into control group(n=52)and experimental group(n=51)according to the different teaching modes of clinical immunology examination practice.The control group was taught with traditional teaching mode,while the experimental group was taught with CBL teaching mode combined with WeChat platform.After the internship,the teaching effect of the two groups of interns was evaluated by the examination results and teaching satisfaction survey.Results According to the exam results,the scores of basic professional knowledge,clinical case analysis,and clinical operation skills of the experimental group were better than those of the control group[(44.67±2.12)points vs.(43.13±1.84)points,(39.35±2.61)points vs.(35.04±2.02)points,(43.69±2.24)points vs.(40.46±2.16)points],the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the total satisfaction scores of the experimental group in terms of teaching content,teaching form,mastery of knowledge points,and improvement of clinical thinking ability were higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CBL teaching method combined with WeChat platform has a remarkable effect in clinical immunology examination practice teaching,which helps students to better grasp knowledge points and cultivate clinical thinking,and has obtained a higher teaching evaluation.
