The Value of Specialized Outpatient Teaching in the Neurology Department for the Standardized Training of General Practitioners
The essence and purpose of standardized training for general practitioners(GPs)determine that outpatient service is the main focus of their work,and outpatient teaching should be the top priority in general practice education.Currently,there is a tendency in various training bases to"emphasize inpatient training while neglecting outpatient service",and even fewer bases conduct specialized disease outpatient teaching.Therefore,each base should strengthen specialized outpatient teaching,fully utilizing the patient resources and teaching and research resources provided by specialized clinics.By combining multi-mode teaching methods,they can build higher-quality training bases for general practitioners.This article summarizes and organizes relevant literature from databases such as PubMed,Medline,CNKI,and Wanfang.It elaborates on the development history of general practice both domestically and internationally,the advantages of specialized outpatient clinics,the characteristics of the neurology discipline,and multi-mode teaching methods.The teaching of movement disorder clinics is used as an example to illustrate the value of specialized neurology outpatient teaching in the standardized training of GPs.
