Exploration and Practice of the"Stage-by-Stage and Diversified Blended Training Mode"in Standardized Training of Clinicopathological Residents
Clinical pathologist,who are in urgent need of talents in China,have become one of the bottlenecks to improve the service quality of the medical areas.How to train high-quality clinicopathological residents is a hot topic in the current standardized training.Since becoming the standardized training base for residents of clinical pathology in january 2014,the pathology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University has divided the training into three stages:strengthening the foundation of clinical pathology,cultivating the ability of clinical pathology,and cultivating the interest of subspecialty and scientific research development.At various stages,the pathology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University has implemented a range of multi-dimensional teaching methodologies.These include specialized lectures,teaching consultations,multi-head microscope instruction,regular discussions of complex cases,literature reviews,and additional methods such as video-based learning and digital specimen slicing.Simultaneously,the pathology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University have developed and nurtured a proficient team of resident training instructors,thereby establishing a high-caliber echelon of educators that encompasses individuals from young,middle-aged,and senior cohorts.Finally,the"Stage-by-stage and diversified mixed training mode"will be established to ensure that clinicopathological residents passed the graduation examination and professional doctor examination,and to make that clinicopathological residents got good results in the intermediate examination,the master's degree examination for the same academic level.Thus,the"stage-by-stage and diversified blended training mode"gradually established by the department is expected to provide reference for optimizing the training of clinical pathology professionals.It may lay a foundation for training qualified clinical pathological diagnostic doctors.
