Application of WeChat Platform Combined With CBL Teaching Method in Standardized Training for Orthopaedics Residents
Objective To explore the application of WeChat platform combined with CBL teaching method in the standardized training of orthopaedics residents.Methods A total of 58 residents who participated in the standardized training in department of orthopaedics,the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University were selected as the research subjects from January 2021 to April 2023.According to the random number table method,they were divided into experimental group and control group,with 29 residents in each group.The control group underwent CBL teaching method,while the experimental group utilized the WeChat platform in conjunction with CBL teaching method.Following clinical instruction in orthopaedics,residents in both groups were evaluated on basic knowledge,clinical skill scores,case analysis ability,and satisfaction with the WeChat platform in conjunction with CBL teaching method.Results The scores of basic knowledge,clinical case analysis ability and medical students'satisfaction in the experimental group[(87.24±4.18)points,(88.38±2.68)points,(44.37±2.82)points]were higher than those in the control group[(84.41±3.98)points,(83.80±4.87)points,(39.97±3.34)points],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the scores of clinical skills between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of WeChat Platform combined with CBL teaching method can effectively enhance the educational outcomes and satisfaction of orthopaedic residents.
