It is difficult to achieve the goals and effects of residential training in respiratory medicine with a single model of traditional teaching due to a wide range of contents and complexity of respiratory diseases.This study will further expound the necessity of the application of diversified teaching mode in combination with the characteristics and difficulties of teaching respiratory diseases,and gradually transform the traditional teaching mode that mainly by teachers,and integrate abstract and complex theoretical knowledge into teaching practice based on the analysis of the current situation of residential training in respiratory medicine and the common problems in the traditional teaching mode.On the one hand,diversified teaching mode has optimized the content,improved the teaching quality;on the other hand,it stimulates the initiative,cultivates the clinical ability and strengthened the interaction and communication.Finally,the problems and challenges encountered in the implementation of the current diversified teaching model are proposed,including teaching philosophy,the establishment of teacher team,teaching system evaluation and curriculum platform construction.
