Application of Online and Offline Combined Teaching Model in the Internship of Infectious Diseases
Objective To explore the application of online and offline combined teaching model in the internship of infectious diseases. Methods From January 2021 to December 2022,a total of 113 clinical medicine students(eight-year program)for internship in Peking University People's Hospital were selected.Students were divided into different groups according to the different internship time,55 students of grade 2018 who apprenticed from October to December 2021 were divided into control group, and 58 students of grade 2019 who apprenticed from June to August 2022 were divided into experimental group. The control group received traditional offline teaching model, and the experimental group received online and offline combined teaching model. The teaching effect was evaluated by analyzing the internship performance scores, theoretical examination scores, and total scores of the two groups of students,as well as the questionnaire results after internship. Results Compared to the control group, the probation performance scores, theory test scores and total scores of experimental group were higher[(45.78±1.58)points vs.(44.64±0.95)points,(45.86±3.37)points vs.(43.86±5.90)points,(89.51±3.83)points vs.(87.66±1.30)points],the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the scores of abundant disease types of internship, improved learning efficiency, clinical internship form and clinical probation effect were higher, the difference were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The online and offline combined teaching model can help to improve the teaching effect of the internship of infectious diseases.
