Application of Online Teaching in the Teaching of Basis of Diagnostics in Continuing Medical Education
Objective To analyze the advantages and disadvantages of online teaching of Basis of Diagnostics for continuing medical education,and to explore the online teaching methods suitable for continuing medical education.Methods From July to August 2022,a total of 119 trainees of the School of Continuing Education of Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects.Questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the trainees'satisfaction with online teaching(teaching effect,teaching content,teaching mode,teaching frequency,etc.)and to investigate the situation of online teaching and use of online learning tools,and then the survey data were analyzed.Results 99.2%(118/119)of trainees were satisfied with the teaching effect;100%of trainees were satisfied with the teaching content(119/119);97.5%(116/119)of trainees were satisfied with the teaching mode;98.3%(117/119)of trainees thought it was helpful to study;42.0%(50/119)of trainees thought online learning was convenient for learning;23.5%(28/119)of trainees thought online learning could be anytime learning;10.9%(13/119)of trainees thought that online learning interaction was insufficient;4.2%(5/119)of trainees thought that online learning was not convenient to ask questions;4.2%(5/119)of trainees thought the self-discipline of online learning was poor.Conclusion The application of online teaching in the teaching of Basis of Diagnostics in continuing education can help trainees learn better.At the same time,it should improve the shortcomings of online teaching and promote it to serve trainees better.
