Investigation Into the Current State and Countermeasure Study of Ideological and Political Education in Clinical Medical Internship Teaching Courses
Objective To investigate the current situation of ideological and political education in the process of clinical medicine practice teaching,find out the problems in teaching,and finally promote the construction of ideological and political education in practice teaching.Methods From August 2023 to April 2024,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 70 clinical interns and 56 clinical practice teachers in a tertiary general hospital in Chongqing.The survey included the general information of clinical interns and clinical practice teachers,and the current situation of curriculum ideological and political education,and then analyzed the current situation and existing problems of curriculum ideological and political education.Results A total of 68 valid questionnaires were collected from clinical interns,with an effective recovery rate of 97%.51 valid questionnaires were collected from clinical teachers,with an effective recovery rate of 91%.In the effective questionnaire,76.47%of interns(52/68)and 76.47%of teachers(39/51)agreed with the importance of curriculum ideological and political education,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).However,in the natural infiltration of ideological and political content,80.39%of teachers believed that the integration of ideological and political content and clinical teaching was natural,while only 45.59%of interns held the same view,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition,students paid more attention to scientific research and innovation,while teachers focused on selfless dedication and teamwork,reflecting the differences in value orientation between the two sides.Conclusion Interns and teachers are deeply aware of the necessity and importance of ideological and political education during the internship,but there are great differences in the understanding of the timing of the infiltration of ideological and political content and the most neglected ideological and political education in the internship teaching process.It can deepen the connotation of curriculum political education;strengthen the training of clinical practice teachers;establish a feedback mechanism to regularly collect feedback from interns and internship teachers;measures such as increasing resource investment and improving scientific research innovation have continuously improved the quality and effectiveness of curriculum ideological and political education during the internship period,laying a solid foundation for cultivating professional talents with both ability and political integrity.
