Advantages and Disadvantages of the Application of ChatGPT in Medical Education
With the continuous development of large language model and big data technology,every breakthrough in artificial intelligence has become the focus of the world.On November 2022,ChatGPT(chat generative pre-trained transformer),a robot program developed and released by OpenAI in the United States which can imitate human language to communicate with each other,has aroused unprecedented heated discussion.Its appearance undoubtedly brings many new possibilities and directions for the field of medical education.ChatGPT can provide personalized and targeted academic support for medical students.However,its powerful conversational functionality and information processing capabilities may exacerbate academic misconduct,such as plagiarism and cheating.Additionally,there are potential risks of privacy leakage during use.This paper aims to discuss the application of ChatGPT in the field of medical education.Through in-depth research and careful consideration,to better utilize the advantages of ChatGPT,avoid its potential drawbacks,and promote progress and innovation in the field of medical education.
