Objective To analyze the application effect of flipped classroom from the perspective of"Internet plus"in Endocrinology teaching. Methods A total of 126 medical students from the clinical major of 2019 who received Endocrinology teaching in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University from March to July 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to the teaching time, there were two stages. The first stage was from March to May 2023,which used traditional teaching methods. The second stage was from May to July 2023,which used the flipped classroom from the perspective of"Internet plus".Through comparing the after-school teaching effect of the two stages,self-learning questionnaire and after-school interview, students'overall evaluation of this teaching mode was clarified. Results The proportion of indicators in the teaching effect scale of medical students in the second stage(stimulating learning interest, improving learning autonomy, improving diagnosis and treatment thinking, improving doctor-patient communication ability, improving comprehensive analysis ability, improving learning efficiency, improving student participation, helping students understand, improving clinical practice skills, and improving theoretical knowledge level)was higher than that in the first stage. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of medical students in the second stage who could adapt to the current teaching mode, thought that it was conducive to the cultivation of comprehensive ability, thought that they had the autonomy of learning, and could reflect the teaching principle according to their aptitude through independent learning were higher than that in the first stage, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The proportion of medical students willing to accept the teaching form in the second stage was higher than that in the first stage, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).After the completion of all courses, the theoretical scores of excellent accounted for 20.63%(26/126),good accounted for 36.51%(46/126),medium accounted for 39.68%(50/126),and failed accounted for 3.18%(4/126).Conclusion The flipped classroom from the perspective of"Internet plus"in Endocrinology teaching can improve students'academic performance, achieve better teaching outcomes, enhance independent learning ability, and is more readily accepted by medical students.
