Application of CBL Teaching Method Based on WeChat Platform in Standardized Training of Dermatology General Practitioners
Objective To discusses the case-based learning(CBL)based on WeChat platform in standardized training of the dermatological training for general practitioners. Methods A total of 86 general practitioners who underwent standardized training in the department of dermatology of the First Hospital of Jiaxing from October 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the experimental group, and 90 general practitioners from October 2019 to August 2021 were included in the control group. The experimental group was taught with the CBL teaching method based on WeChat platform on the basis of traditional teaching, while the control group was only taught with the traditional teaching method. The accuracy of disease cognition and the satisfaction evaluation of teaching mode were compared. Results The cognitive accuracy of experimental group for verruca vulgaris(95.35%vs.67.78%),herpes zoster(100%vs.76.67%),psoriasis(91.86%vs.73.33%)and drug-induced dermatitis(97.67%vs.66.67%)was higher than that of control group. The differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).After 4 weeks of admission, the cognition degree of the experimental group on verruca vulgaris, herpes zoster, psoriasis and drug-induced dermatitis was significantly higher than that at admission, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The results of the questionnaire survey showed that the satisfaction evaluation of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group in such items as satisfying this learning style, strengthening memory, improving learning interest and improving independent analysis ability, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion CBL teaching method based on WeChat platform can provide new ideas and methods for standardized training of general practitioners in dermatology base training.
