Application Practice of Rain Class Combined With BOPPPS Teaching Mode in Pediatric Orthopedics Teaching
Objective To explore the application effects of integrating the rain class combined with the bridge-in,objective,pre-assessment,participatory learning,post-assessment,summary(BOPPPS)teaching mode in pediatric orthopedic teaching.Methods A total of 100 intern students in pediatric orthopedics from July 2019 to June 2020 in the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 50 students in each group.The control group was taught with the traditional teaching mode,while the experimental group was taught with the rain class combined with the BOPPPS teaching model.The teaching effects of the two groups were evaluated through examinations,and teaching satisfaction was surveyed using a self-made questionnaire.Results The scores of the test group were higher than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The test scores of experimental group were higher than those of control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.001).The teaching satisfaction survey found that the satisfaction of the experimental group was 96.00%,higher than that of the control group 66.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion The application of rain class combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in the teaching of pediatric orthopedics can not only improve students'theoretical scores and practical skills,but also improve students'interest in learning and participation,which lays a good foundation for training excellent orthopedic talents.
