Universities are highly rational organizations,and their governance must be guided by theory,which is why countries attach great importance to the theoretical research of internal governance of universities.Reviewing the theoretical research results of internal governance in universities at home and abroad to understand the past and present situation of the research and comment on its characteristics,shortcomings and limitations are conducive to deepening follow-up research and can help researchers grasp and focus on priorities that are instructive for improving the efficiency of internal governance based on existing research results.
