After the reform and opening-up,North China,with Beijing as center,became highland for educational research and educational science in China.Educators in North China were led by Beijing Normal University and Central Institute of Education,with universities such as Capital Normal University,Beijing Institute of Education,Tianjin Normal University,Hebei University,Hebei Normal University,Shanxi University and Inner Mongolia Normal University and National Education Development Research Center,Curriculum and Teaching Materials Research Institute of People's Education Press,Higher Education Science Research Institute of Peking University,Education Science Research Institute of Tsinghua University,Institute of Psychology of Chinese Academy of Sciences,Beijing Education Science Research Institute,Tianjin Education Science Research Institute as backbone.They were at the leading position in almost all educational disciplines in China.
