Looking back on the 75-year development of early childhood science education in the People's Republic of China,it can be divided into the stage of scientific common sense education,scientific perception education,science field education and science cross-domain education from the dimension of goal,content and method.Early childhood science education in China has advantages and characteristics in different stages,but due to the constraints of cultural value,the lack of educational coordination mechanism and the gap between educational theory and practice,it's confronted with challenges such as imperfect implementation system,slow practical effect and the separation of truth,goodness and beauty.Only by adhering to the concept of integrating science education with humanities education,attaching importance to the coordinated promotion of kindergarten and society,implementing the integration of science education in kindergarten and primary school,and ensuring the professional cultivation of faculty can we promote the high-quality development of early childhood science education in China.
