系统开展翻译对标 助力中国铁路标准国际化

摘要
中国铁路的高速发展助推中国铁路标准走向海外,但发达国家铁路标准的"先入为主"以及中国铁路标准相对于国际通用标准的独立性和"封闭性",对标准的翻译提出更高要求.本文基于我国铁路标准"走出去"的背景阐述了标准英译本"走出去"初期面临的问题,提出翻译中要在框架结构、专业术语、语义表达及专业技术这四个层面开展与国际通用标准进行"对标",以进一步提升标准外文版的专业性和精准度,助力中国铁路标准国际化.
Abstract
The extraordinary growth of China railways has led to the adoption of Chinese railway standards in many countries overseas.However,as Chinese standards differ from several international standards currently in effect,there is a need for more professional translation of Chinese standards into English.This article provides an overview of the background of China railways'globalization efforts and highlights the major problems encoun-tered in the early stages of English translation of Chinese railway standards.It then introduces the concept of"cross reference"in translation practice,which entails a systematic comparison of content and expression in both languages.This approach aims to improve the technical precision and accuracy of English versions of Chi-nese railway standards,thereby promoting the internationalization of these standards.
