Progress and Prospects in the Study of Translation Thinking
In the early 1980s,Qian Xuesen advocated for the establishment of thinking science,which conse-quently led to the emergence and growth of translation thinking studies in China.Over the years,these studies have primarily focused on the application of thinking in translation,transformation of thinking and transformation thinking in translation,cultivation of translation thinking,and the development of a discipline system for transla-tion thinking.Moving forward,the future direction of translation thinking studies will prioritize theoretical inno-vation.This will be accomplished through the adoption of a multidisciplinary perspective and a translatology-o-riented approach.Although these two approaches may appear contradictory,they are actually complementary and reflect the trend of transdisciplinary research,whereby different disciplines mutually benefit and integrate deeply with one another.
