科技英语具有专业术语多、逻辑严谨、句式复杂等特点.本文根据奈达功能对等理论,从词汇、句法和语篇的角度阐述如何在机器翻译的基础上进行译后编辑(MTPE),旨在为译者对科技英语的机译文本进行译后编辑提供借鉴与参考,从而优化翻译质量.
Abstract
Scientific English is distinguished by its specialized terminology and the use of logical,intricate sen-tences.This paper elucidates the process of post-editing at the lexical,syntactical,and textual levels,grounded in Nida's functional equivalence theory.The goal is to offer insights for human translators tasked with refining machine-translated scientific English texts,thereby enhancing the overall quality of translations.
