摘要
1901年严复首次在中国翻译了亚当·斯密的古典政治经济学巨著《国富论》,中译本定名《原富》.本文借助严氏英文底本这一稀缺一手资料,还原严复关于价值论的全部批注,分析严复与斯密思想的对话、碰撞乃至相斥的思辨过程,揭示出他对价值论的理解、重释及拒斥等不为人所知的翻译内幕.
Abstract
In 1901,Yan Fu translated Adam Smith's seminal work in political economy,The Wealth of Na-tions,into Chinese for the first time,titling it Yuan Fu.This article utilizes the rare first-hand material of Yan Fu's marginalia in the source text of The Wealth of Nations to meticulously analyze his marginal notes pertaining to the theory.It delves into the intricate interplay between Yan Fu's and Smith's ideas,encompassing dia-logue,collision,and even instances of rejection.Through this analysis,this paper reveals Yan Fu's compre-hension,reinterpretation,and insights behind his translation endeavor.
