Comparative Analysis of the Global Cities Innovation Index and Its Inspiration for Beijing to Build the International Innovation Center
The evaluation of urban scientific and technological innovation capability is a research hotspot around the world.Comparative analysis the global innovation cites index will promote the understanding of the formation and evolution logic of international science and technology innovation centers,and quantify the innovation development pattern of global cities.This paper focuses on the analysis of e-valuation purpose,methods,indicators and results from eight famous global cities innovation index.At the same time,tracking the rank changes of international innovation centers such as Beijing and New York,Boston,London,and Tokyo.The research results show that the current innovation pattern of global cities is relatively stable,and Beijing's scores on scientific papers,entrepreneurial ecology are in the leading position in the world.However,indicators such as talents and universities are still weak points in their scores.It is necessary to further continue to gather high-quality innovation elements and build an efficient global innovation network.
