The Influence of High-Tech Industry Agglomeration on Regional Innovation Efficiency——An Empirical Study Based on Spatial Econometric Model
This paper utilizes the regional innovation panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2005 to 2019,measures the regional in-novation efficiency and the value of high-tech industry agglomeration by using the DEA model and regional entropy method, and empiri-cally analyzes the relationship and spatial spillover effect between high-tech industry agglomeration and regional innovation efficiency from the perspective of spatial econometrics. The study shows that:from the national level,high-tech industrial agglomeration has a sig-nificant impact on regional innovation efficiency through economies of scale effect, industrial linkage effect and spatial spillover effect, and there is a non-linear inverted U-shaped relationship between high-tech industrial agglomeration and regional innovation efficien-cy.From the regional level, the positive promotion effect of high-tech industrial agglomeration on regional innovation efficiency is signif-icantly stronger in the eastern region than in the midwest regions.
