The Influence of Patent Infringement Risk Management on Latecomer Enterprises Technological Catch-up
Based on a tracking survey data of Chinese latecomer enterprises from 2022 to 2023,it explores the impact of patent infringe-ment risk management on latecomer enterprises technological catch-up,as well as the mediating effect of technological innovation and the moderating effect of technical capability and intellectual property protection.According to the analysis,this study got the following conclusions.Firstly,the patent infringement risk management has a positive impact on latecomer enterprises technological catch-up.Secondly,the technological innovation partially mediates the relationship of patent infringement risk management on latecomer en-terprises technological catch-up,and the effect is current and time-delaying.Thirdly,both the technical capability and the intellectual property protection moderate the relationship of patent infringement risk management on technological innovation.The results pass the endogenous and robustness test,provide empirical evidences of innovation-driven effect of patent infringement risk management,guide Chinese latecomer enterprises forging ahead in patent thicket.
