Evaluation of change in the ecological quality for Minjiang River Basin based on the InVEST-Biodiversity model
Based on the Biodiversity module of InVEST model, the ecosystem service functions of the Biodiversity for Minjiang river basin were determined, and the ecological environmental quality was evaluated using the habitat quality index and habitat scarce index in model results, which had reference value to the regional ecological environment protection. The habitat quality in-dex scores of Minjiang river basin in 2000,2005,and 2010,were 27.90,27.82,and 27.79,respectively,which decreased by 0.39% in 10 years. The falling rate of the habitat quality index score in 2005-2010 decreased by 62.50% than that in 2000-2005. The regions with low habitat quality were Taijiang,Gulou,Cangshan, and Changle,of which the averages of the habitat quality index score in 10 years were 0.15,0.23,0.33,and 0.53,respectively.The influences of road, residence, industrial land, and mining land on the ecological environment were the main factors to affect the change in the habitat quality. The habitat scarcity index of the forest was decreased by 89.80%,and the average habitat quality index was 0.99,and the area of the forest land in-creased by 0.09%.The resutls demonstrate that the overall habitat quality for Minjiang river basin in 10 years shows good level and stability.
