Seismic vulnerability analysis of partially staggered RC frame structures with laminated columns
To study the failure probability of a partially staggered reinforced concrete(RC)frame structure with laminated columns under near-fault and far-field earthquakes, the plastic hinge parameters of steel tube-reinforced concrete column were defined, and the validity of the plastic hinge parameters was verified by comparison with the test results.Establishment of nonlinear analysis model with SAP2000,and a total of 22 near-fault and far-field earthquakes waves were selected. The peak ground acceleration(PGA)and the maximum interlayer displacement angle were selected as ground motion intensity index and structural performance index, respectively. The vulnerability analysis of staggered frame structure was carried out based on the results of incremental dynamic analysis(IDA)and point estimation function. The results show that, for far-field ground motion, the structure meets the"three-level"seismic fortification requirements, and the probability of exceeding the limit state of collapse prevention in rare earth-quake is only 0.24%.The structure can still meet the design requirements of"small earthquake is not bad"under the near-fault earthquake. The probability of the structure exceeding the limit state after repair is 53.63%under the fortification earthquake, and the probability of moderate damage is larger. The probability of reaching the collapse limit state of the structure is 5.37%under the rare earthquake, which is more serious than the far-field earthquake damage. The research results can provide reference for the design and seismic risk assessment of staggered-floor frame structures.
