Study on road performance of high-RAP warm-mix recycled asphalt mixture
To increase the content of reclaimed asphalt pavement(RAP)in asphalt pavement and address the issue of excessive mix-ing temperature in hot recycling mixtures,a special warm-mix recycling agent was developed for high-content warm-mix recycling technology,and the performance of warm-mix recycled asphalt was analyzed.Based on the principle of consistency with workabil-ity,a temperature control process design for high-content warm-mix recycling was proposed,the mix proportion design of high-content warm-mix recycled mixtures was completed,and comprehensive road performance analysis of warm-mix recycled mixtures was conducted.The results show that the developed high-content warm-mix recycling agent exhibits good recycling effect and can achieve mixing and compaction with a lowering temperature of 20℃.The changes in high and low temperature performance,water stability,and dynamic modulus of warm-mix recycled mixtures can all achieve the same road performance effects as ordinary hot-mix asphalt mixtures.The proposed warm-mix recycling agent and high-content warm-mix recycling mixture design method provide effective references for engineering application with utilization of road solid waste resources.
