Study on the viscoelastic properties of rock asphalt-rubber composite modified asphalt mixture
In order to examine the viscoelastic properties of rock asphalt-rubber composite modified asphalt mixture, the asphalt mix-ture performance testing machine(AMPT)was used to measure the phase angle and uniaxial dynamic compression modulus of the composite modified asphalt mixture's various material compositions under various test conditions. The dynamic predictive modulus and primary dynamic modulus curve of the rock asphalt-rubber composite-modified asphalt mixture were established using the time-temperature equivalency approach. The results indicate that the dynamic modulus of the rock asphalt-rubber powder composite modi-fied asphalt mixture gradually decreases with the increased test temperature or loading frequency. The rutting resistance of the AC-20 composite modified asphalt mixture improves as the rock asphalt doping level increased, while the fatigue performance decreases. The dynamic modulus of the rock asphalt-rubber composite modified asphalt mixture is determined to be close to 14 000 MPa at 20℃.The dynamic modulus prediction model created herein can reach 83%prediction accuracy, and the findings fulfill the high modulus technical criteria for asphalt mixtures.
