Practice and development trend of realizing "carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality" goals by scientific journals of coal sector:A case study of Coal Conversion
[Purposes]This paper explores the countermeasures for scientific journals of the coal sector to realize the carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals,so as to help China realize carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals from the perspective of scientific journals.[Methods]This paper employed the case analysis method,studied the core journal Coal Conversion,and elaborated on the countermeasures for the journal to realize the carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals from two dimensions of practice path and development trend.[Findings]Coal Conversion closely follows the national strategy of realizing the carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals and adopts countermeasures of exploring the scope of topics,planning hot special issues,focusing on achievement transformation,and improving WeChat promotion,so as to serve the development of coal disciplines and the technological innovation of coal enterprises.[Conclusions]Coal Conversion also needs to expand the planning methods for special columns,special topics,and special issues,improve the precision service level for users,and explore the operation of video accounts,so as to realize the carbon emission peak and carbon neutrality goals.
