Goal,norm,and spirit of connotation construction of Chinese paradigm of scientific communication:Centered on Chinese Association of Scientific Journals(1947-1950)
[Purposes]This paper aims to study the early practice and exploration of Chinese modernization in the scientific community,trace the historical origin and spiritual characteristics clarifying the construction of the Chinese paradigm of the scientific communication system,and provide the historical experience and inject the spiritual core for innovating and developing the independent knowledge system of scientific communication based on the cultural foundation with Chinese characteristics.[Methods]Based on the connotation construction of the scientific community,the practical activities and related exchanges of promoting the editing and publication of scientific journals by the Chinese Association of Scientific Journals were studied,and the role of Chinese Association of Scientific Journals in the paradigm connotation construction of scientific journals in China was analyzed and summarized.[Findings]Chinese Association of Scientific Journals constructs the paradigm of scientific journals from three aspects:system goal,code of conduct,and spiritual temperament.In terms of system goal,it requires scientific journals to survive together and fulfill the mission;in terms of code of conduct,it requires scientific journals to adhere to Chinese standards and classification construction;in terms of spiritual temperament,it requires scientific journals to work hard and spread the faith.[Conclusions]The organizational exploration of Chinese Association of Scientific Journals is the conscious practice of Chinese scientists to the social role of scientists,and it initially constructs the paradigm connotation of Chinese scientific journals.Under the guarantee of the social backgrounds of"science nationalization"and"people's science"in the new era,the scientific communication system with Chinese paradigm has been implemented.
