摘要
[目的]分析高校期刊集群化建设的优势和不足,总结高校期刊集群化的必要性和建设措施.[方法]以高校期刊编辑人员、期刊中心/社及相关行政部门管理者为研究对象,采用深度访谈法和典型案例分析法了解高校期刊对于期刊集群化的态度和意向.采用主题框架法进行资料处理,归纳研究发现.[结果]高校期刊集群化在创办新刊、形成规模效应和建设编辑队伍上具有显著优势,但存在专业限制、传统期刊转变困难以及管理压力大等不足.[结论]高校期刊集群化建设具有必要性,应在充分尊重期刊专业特色的基础上,推动高校期刊集群化发展.
Abstract
[Purposes]This study analyzes the strengths and weaknesses of journal cluster construction in universities,and summarizes the necessity and construction measures of journal clustering in universities.[Methods]Using in-depth interviews and typical case analysis methods,we studied university journal editors and executives in journal centers/societies and relevant administrative departments to understand their attitudes and intentions toward journal clustering in universities.We processed data by thematic framework analysis to summarize research findings.[Findings]Journal clustering in universities shows significant advantages in launching new journals,achieving economies of scale,and building editorial teams.However,challenges exist such as disciplinary constraints,difficulties in transitioning traditional journals,and high management pressure.[Conclusions]Journal cluster construction in universities is necessary and should be promoted while respecting the professional characteristics of journals.
