Academic activities assist in brand building of scientific journals:A case study of Chinese Laser Press
[Purposes]This study explores the operational model of academic activities to support the brand building of scientific journals and provide implementation strategies for their high-quality development.[Methods]We summarized the types of academic activities and brand building pathways and elaborated on the exploration and practice of various academic activities using Chinese Laser Press as a case.[Findings]Academic activities related to journals include academic conferences,live streaming,training courses,contests,and discussions.These activities can effectively enhance the industry visibility of scientific journals and contribute to their brand building.[Conclusions]Academic activities broaden the academic communication channels of scientific journals,enrich and enhance their brand image,and play a crucial role in building academic communities and advancing discipline development.
