A Review of the Impact of Organizational Performance Management System on Innovation:From the Perspective of Technological Innovation Type
Innovation is very important for the survival of organizations,the realization of competitive advantages and the achievement of excellent performance.In reality,the performance management system in organizations is widely used in the practice of organizational innovation management,but its actual application effect is very different.The reason is that the research on the relationship between performance management control system and innovation in academic literature has not reached a consistent conclusion so far.Based on the contingency perspective,this paper intends to systematically review and critically analyze the literature research on management control system and innovation from the perspective of different types of innovation and the matching of innovation types with the design of performance management system,explains the contradictory results of previous research from a new perspective,and reveals some future research directions in this field.It also provides a reference for the practice of organizational innovation management from the perspective of matching appropriateness.
