Research on Evaluation Methods of High-level Scientific and Technological Talents Based on the BRIDGE Theory
This paper introduces a method to evaluate performances' of high-level scientific and technological talents based on the BRIDGE theory. It is found that the BRIDGE theory plays a distinctive role in addressing the challenge of low homogeneity of expert matching, which is caused by the differences in scientific fields of the talents. Furthermore,it is shown that the coding system suggested in the BRIDGE theory can better combine quantitative evalaution and qualitative evaluations, which can avoid the limitations caused by adopting quantitative evaluations or qualitative evaluations alone. It is argued that this method represents a novel evalaution approach on talents' performance within the context of China's ongoing reform in research evalaution and holds significant potential for broader application.
