The Performance,Practices,and Policy Implications of Switzerland's Open Innovation
Switzerland won the respect and compliment of the world with its unique political stance and built a small yet strong economy through openness and innovation. The report adopts the previous research results of the International Open Innovation Index to analyze the global ranking and main performance of Switzerland's open innovation. And this report unveils the related practices and policy. The result shows that Swiss main strength include a favorable institutional environment,gathering global high-level innovation resources,and transforming them into knowledge and technology outputs with high international influence. The main policies include building global diplomatic network,promoting talent exchanges and cooperation,enhancing the innovation environment and international reputation of major universities,promoting high-level industry university research cooperation,exploring to establish of international science and technology organizations,and recommended talents for international organizations. On this basis,policy implications are proposed.
