Analysis of the Transformation Trend of Scientific-Technical Information Agencies into Think Tanks in the Age of Big Data
This paper briefly reviews the development history of scientific-technical information undertaking in China,and focuses on the characteristics in the stage of big data empowerment.Starting from the annual meeting of China intelligence studies in 2023,and scientific-technical information agencies,this paper analyzes the development trend of domestic scientific-technical information undertaking and the transformation process of information agencies into think tanks.Chongqing Science and Technology Information Center is selected as a case study,and four specific suggestions are put forward in view of its problems in leading consciousness,institutional positioning,resource inheritance,research methods,talent cultivation,etc.,in order to provide inspirational references for local scientific-technical information agencies to grasp the historical opportunity of big data empowerment and give full play to their institutional advantages and leading effectiveness.
