Research progress in organic field-effect based gas sensors
Thanks to the inherent advantages of organic semiconductors,including the designability of molecular structures,the processability of solution method and good mechanical flexibility,as well as the inherent advantages of field-effect transistors,including multi-parameter,signal tunable and high integration,gas sensors based on organic field-effect transistors(OFETs)have made significant research progress and obtained excellent sensing performance.In this paper,we review the latest research progress in the OFET gas sensors in the past several years,especially since 2018,including the progress of chemical sensitive materials,interface engineering,microstructure regulation of semiconductor layers,flexible OFET gas sensors,integrated circuits and integrated arrays.Finally,the application of OFETs in gas sensors is briefly summarized and discussed.This review will provide a comprehensive and basic understanding of gas sensors based on OFETs,and benefit the fabrication of high-performance gas sensors and the development of related industries.
