Helical molecular nanocarbons based on hexabenzocoronene
Molecular nanocarbon is a class of conjugated carbon molecules with atomically precise structure and nanoscale size,providing an ideal molecular model for studying the structure-property relationship of nanocarbon material.In recent years,helical molecular nanocarbons based on hexabenzocoronene have attracted broad interests owing to their intrinsically helical chirality and unique property,and they have found promising applications in the field of organic optoelectronic material,supramolecular chemistry and bioimaging.In this review,we summarize our recent progress on the helical molecular nanocarbons,including their design,synthesis,and properties.
