Application of 3D printing technology in micro chemical engineering
3D printing technology is an additive manufacturing method based on a layer-by-layer process.Recently,micro chemical engineering technology that deals with mixing,chemical reactions,separation,and purification at a microscale has developed rapidly.This technology reduces conventional chemical processes to micro-and milli-meter scale to enable precise control and process intensification in chemical reactions and separations.This review summarizes the recent applications of 3D printing technology in micro chemical engineering,including fluid flow and mass transfer,chemical synthesis,catalytic process,reactor design,and chemical analysis and detection,aiming to provide insights for research and development in micro chemical engineering.
