Improving the evaluation mechanism and enhancing the quality and efficiency of project review——from the perspective of the pilot work of the"responsibility,credibility,contribution"evaluation mechanism in the Department of Chemical Sciences,NSFC
Scientificity is the bedrock of National Natural Science Fund,while fairness is its lifeblood.The scientific,fair and impartial completion of project review is a critical element in improving funding efficiency,fostering technological innovation,and advancing the upgrade of scientific system.This article introduces the pilot work of the"Responsibility,Credibility,Contribution"(RCC)evaluation mechanism in the Department of Chemical Sciences at NSFC from 2021 to 2023.It encompasses statistical analysis on data related to"responsibility"and"credibility"indicators,summarizes interim achievements and pilot experiences,and offers policy recommendations and implementation measures for future endeavors.
