The application of ' 3S' technology in the treatments of mine environment
A series of environmental problems always follow with the progress of mine exploitation. The major problems include geological disasters, eco-environment destructions, and environmental pollutions. With the characteristics and the development tendency of 3S, this paper states the application examples and the future application prospects, which about the applications of GPS. RS, GIS in mine environmental treatments. This paper believes that with the development of modern information technology, in response to the requirements of green mining construction offered from the government, 3S technology will be applied and popularized in mine environmental treatments quickly, thus effectively promote the sustainable developments of mining industry.
