With the continuous advancement of intelligent mining, the deployment scale and application scenarios of mine networks are expanding, which pose higher requirements for wireless communication in terms of rate, latency, and reliability.Wi-Fi 7,corresponding to the latest IEEE 802.11be protocol standard,is the next-generation wireless communication technology that provides a new wireless communication solution for mine network construction. In terms of application deployment, the technical characteristics and effects of Wi-Fi 7 are analyzed from the perspectives of rate enhancement,low-latency guarantee, and interference suppression.By adopting strategies such as wider bandwidth,higher-order modulation, and multi-user MIMO,Wi-Fi 7 achieves a significant rate enhancement, aiming to reach a target of 30 Gbps.Through the introduction of mechanisms such as Multi-AP joint transmission and multi-link operation,Wi-Fi 7 can provide reliable low-latency guarantee, aiming for a target of less than 5 ms.By utilizing techniques like preamble puncturing,C-OFDMA,and spatial reuse,Wi-Fi 7 establishes strong interference suppression capabilities to meet the demands of complex environments. For intelligent mining construction,a network architecture represented by Mine PON+Wi-Fi 7 is proposed, along with applications such as digital twin working surfaces and remote equipment control. The integration of Wi-Fi 7 with 50G PON,coexistence with 5G/5G-Advanced,and collaboration with various Wi-Fi protocols are also analyzed in terms of future development prospects. It can be foreseen that after large-scale commercial use,Wi-Fi 7 will become a low-cost,high-value information infrastructure for intelligent mining.
