The Effect of Financial Deprivation on Cyberbullying:A Composite Multiple Mediation Model
Objective:To examine the relationship between financial deprivation and cyberbullying,and the chain medi-ating role of belief in a just word and moral disengagement.Methods:785 college students were investigated with the Fi-nancial Well-being Index,the Belief in a Just World Scale,the Moral Disengagement Scale and the Cyberbullying Invento-ry.Results:(1)Financial deprivation directly predicted cyberbullying;(2)Personal belief in a just world and moral disen-gagement had a separate mediating effect between financial deprivation and cyberbullying;(3)Financial deprivation had a significant impact on cyberbullying through the personal belief in a just world and moral disengagement.Conclusion:Fi-nancial deprivation not only had a direct impact on cyberbullying,but also had an indirect impact through personal belief in a just world,moral disengagement,and the sequence path of the two.
