A Case Study of Flash Technique Improving Depression in Early Trauma Survivors
Objective:To investigate the intervention effect of Flash Technique on depression of people with early trau-matic experiences.Methods:A single-subject experimental design was used to conduct a Flash Technique intervention on one case's early traumatic memories,combining questionnaires,interviews,observations,and other modalities to assess the effect of the intervention.The Childhood Trauma Questionnaire and the Self-Rating Depression Scale were used to screen the case,and depression was measured before and after the intervention and during the follow-up period,and the Subjec-tive Units of Disturbance was used to assess the subjective distress of the traumatic event during the intervention.Results:Analysis of the quantitative and qualitative results showed that the level of depression of the case was significantly lower af-ter the intervention than before.Conclusion:Flash Technique is effective in improving the depression of people with early traumatic experiences.
