Objective:To explore the development trend of harsh parenting,resilience and suicidal ideation during ear-ly adolescence,and to test the longitudinal moderating effect of resilience in the relationship of harsh parenting and suicidal ideation.Methods:A total of 1050 junior high school students were investigated for three times in one year by using harsh parenting Scale,Chinese revision of positive and negative suicide ideation and Connor-Davidson resilience Scale.Results:(1)harsh parenting,suicidal ideation and resilience of early adolescents showed a linear increasing trend;(2)the initial lev-el of resilience played a negative moderating role in the relationship between the initial level of harsh parenting and suicidal ideation;(3)the growth rate of resilience played a negative moderating role in the relationship between the growth rate of harsh parenting and suicidal ideation.Conclusion:Resilience plays a longitudinal moderating role in the relationship be-tween harsh parenting and suicidal ideation.
