Reliabilities and Validities of Chinese Version of the Perseverative Thinking Questionnaire-Children
Objective:To revise the Chinese Version of the Perseverative Thinking Questionnaire-Children(PTQ-C)and test its reliability and validity in Chinese children and adolescents.Methods:3628 children and adolescents were se-lected to answer the Chinese Version of the Perseverative Thinking Questionnaire-Children(PTQ-C).At the time,the Ru-mination,the anxiety,depression and happiness index were used to be the criterion.417 participants were randomly select-ed to complete the PTQ-C about three months after investigation.Results:Both exploratory factor analysis and confirmato-ry factor analysis supported the single factor model of Chinese version PTQ-C.The total score of the PTC-C was positively correlated with RRS,anxiety scale,PHQ-9 and negatively correlated with happiness index.The internal consistency reli-ability coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.959,the split-half reliability coefficient was 0.929 and test-retest coefficient was 0.610.The Chinese version of PTQ-C had full measurement invariance across participants'gender and grades.Con-clusion:The Chinese version of PTQ-C has good reliability and validity.It can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the repetitive negative thinking of Chinese children and adolescents.
