Objective:To investigate the influence of nature connectedness on the flourishing of adolescents,627 ado-lescents were recruited to participate in this study.Methods:They anonymously completed questionnaires regarding con-nectedness to nature,flourishing scale,gratitude scale and social class scale.Results:(1)Nature connectedness had a sig-nificant positive predictive effect on the flourishing of adolescents.(2)The gratitude played a partial mediating role in nature connectedness and flourishing.(3)The social class played a moderate role in connectedness to nature on gratitude.Conclu-sion:Enhancing the sense of connection between individuals and nature is an important way to enhance the flourishing of adolescents,and teenagers from lower social classes are more likely to benefit from this path because they are'penniless'.
