The Actor-Partner Interdependence Model Analysis of Sense of Giving and Intimacy Relationship Satisfaction among College Couples:The Mediating Effect of Perceived Partner Responsiveness
Objective:To explore the actor and partner effects of sense of giving on intimacy relationship satisfaction of college couples,and the mediating effect of perceived partner responsiveness.Methods:A questionnaire survey was con-ducted on 130 heterosexual college couples,to measure the sense of giving,perceived partner responsiveness,and the inti-macy relationship satisfaction.The actor-partner interdependence model and the actor-partner interdependence mediation models were used for data analysis.Results:①College student couples'sense of giving positively predicted their own and their lovers'intimacy relationship satisfaction;②College student couples'sense of giving affected their intimacy relation-ship satisfaction through their own and their lovers'perceived partner responsiveness.③College student couples'sense of giving affects their lovers'intimacy relationship satisfaction through their lovers'perceived partner responsiveness;④Girls'perceived partner responsiveness mediated the relationship between girls'sense of giving and boys'intimacy rela-tionship satisfaction.Conclusion:College couples'sense of giving can influence their own and lovers'intimacy relation-ship satisfaction through their own and lovers'perceived partner responsiveness.
